Add the ground almonds and flour and mix well. Add the ground almonds and flour and mix well. Knead lightly and roll out thinly. Cut into rounds using a 6cm plain cutter and place on a greased baking sheet.<\/p>\n<p>For the topping, mix the icing sugar with the egg white, then add the shredded almonds and stir well. Spoon over the biscuits and bake in a preheated moderate oven 180\u00b0C, 350\u00b0F, gas mark 4 for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
