{"id":16198,"date":"2022-12-12T10:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-12-12T10:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mostlyfood.co.uk\/?p=16198"},"modified":"2022-02-19T13:30:23","modified_gmt":"2022-02-19T13:30:23","slug":"teachers-hot-toddy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/testing22.mostlyfood.co.uk\/index.php\/teachers-hot-toddy\/","title":{"rendered":"Teacher\u2019s Hot Toddy"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Ingredients:<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mostlyfood.co.uk\/Recipes\/toddy2.jpg\" width=\"181\" height=\"330\" \/><\/h4>\n<p>50ml Teacher\u2019s Whisky<br \/>\n2 teaspoons vanilla sugar<br \/>\nCardamom<br \/>\nCinnamon<br \/>\nThe juice of 2 wedges of lemon<br \/>\nThe juice of 1 wedge of orange<br \/>\n37.5ml pressed apple juice<br \/>\nBoiling water<\/p>\n<h4>Method:<\/h4>\n<p>Add 1 pod of green cardamom, a pinch of cinnamon and 2 teaspoons of vanilla sugar to a heat proof glass and gently press the cardamom.<\/p>\n<p>Half fill the glass with boiling water then pour in the apple juice and Teacher\u2019s whisky.<\/p>\n<p>Squeeze in 2 wedges of lemon and a wedge of orange, gently stir until the sugar has dissolved and then top up with boiling water.<\/p>\n<p>If preferred, strain off into a fresh glass and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
