\"GiddyGiddy Nibbles are delicious savoury cookies. These unique biscuits are the inspired brainchild (or is that children?) of two friends who love baking. The range of tempting savoury goodies adds so much to a cheese and fruit platter at the end of a dinner party. None of your usual dry Scandinavian crackers here. Or they make delightful canape bases to fill one tier of an afternoon tea stand. Just top with cream cheese and smoked salmon or grilled tomatoes and a dot of pesto. Yes, you can say you made them all yourself and that is almost the truth!<\/p>\n

Giddy Nibbles deliver rolls of pre-made cheese biscuit dough. They each weigh 120g, come in four flavours, and are all natural with no artificial flavourings or preservatives. Simply store in the fridge or freezer and slice when you need them. These gourmet cheese biscuits are the equivalent of having a pastry chef in your kitchen. All you have to do is slice them and bake for 10 to 12 minutes.<\/p>\n

Each roll slices into 16-18 individual biscuit bites.<\/p>\n

Cooking Instructions<\/h4>\n

Slice to approximately the thickness of a \u00a31 coin and bake at 200\u00b0C (180\u00b0C for fan-assisted ovens) for around 10-12 minutes from chilled, or 16 minutes from frozen.<\/p>\n

The Giddy Nibbles combinations are: Harissa and Chilli which are wonderful with a glass of robust red wine; Lyburn Gold and Fennel which are delicious with sun-dried tomato; Red Leicester and Pink Peppercorn is the one to top with some paper-thin roast beef; and Old Winchester and Oregano offers a real taste of the Med in one\u2019s own back garden. These cookies are convenient when one is entertaining. Yes, we will be doing that again quite soon. Bake the biscuits a couple of hours before needed. When they are cooled arrange the toppings. Presentation is your only job, as the taste department is already sorted by Giddy Nibbles.<\/p>\n

\"Pommery\"Louis Pommery sparkling wine<\/h4>\n

When hosting a simple drinks party it\u2019s important to, well, keep it simple! Offer your guests a choice of fizz or a flavoured sparkling mineral water. English sparkling wine from Louis Pommery and Giddy Nibbles is a marriage made in your back garden.<\/p>\n

Award-winning Louis Pommery is produced on the Pinglestone Estate from a 40-hectare site where the chalky soil offers the perfect growing medium for vines.\u00a0 Pommery has 30 hectares of vineyard, planted between 2017 and 2019 with the classic Champagne trio of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier vines. Three years after the first vines were planted, Pommery brought in its first ever grapes harvested on UK soil.<\/p>\n

Cl\u00e9ment Pierlot, Champagne Pommery Chef de Cave and head of winemaking for Louis Pommery England, comments: \u201cI have been involved with this project since its inception and it has been very exciting to explore the growing of vines and winemaking in the UK.\u00a0 As soon as myself and Mr Vranken came across Pinglestone Estate we knew this was the right location for our vines, we felt it was extremely special land and the first vintage has proven exceptional.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the glass, Louis Pommery England offers white fruit with a hint of white blossom on the nose. On the palate it has tart apple to the fore with fresh citrus and nectarines adding a balance, the bubbles well-integrated and lingering. The finish is pleasing with a suspicion of wet stones.\u00a0 This excellent sparkling wine works well with light seafood, grilled vegetables, and soft fruits.<\/p>\n
