Summer Cocktails made with \u2018The Properly Improper Gin’<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Summer nights call for The Properly Improper Gin, Brockmans, and some new fruit-filled cocktail recipes to make evenings a little unconventional, a little different, and a great deal of fun.<\/p>\n

The Brockmans Gin mixologists have developed two cocktails designed for those who shy away from the conventional. We still love a G&T, let\u2019s not forget, but some evenings require a walk on a slightly wilder side.<\/p>\n

These drinks have garnishes that take advantage of the fresh mint that is abundant at this time of year. Both are elegant, citrussy, and, above all, different.<\/p>\n

The Golden Hour Cocktail is simple and surprising whilst the Passionfruit Southside uses this unique fruit to enhance the astonishing dark berry notes that are naturally present in Brockmans: juniper berries, blueberries and blackberries. These dark berries are given a starring role in the noble tradition of the finest gin making and add complexity to even simple ingredients.<\/p>\n

Golden Hour\"Brockmans<\/h4>\n

Ingredients
\n60ml Brockmans Gin
\n45ml Grapefruit Juice
\n15ml Freshly squeezed lemon juice
\n20 ml Simple syrup
\nGarnish: Mint leaf, grapefruit peel<\/p>\n

Method<\/p>\n

Combine all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into a coupe glass. Add garnish.<\/p>\n

Place all the ingredients (including the mint) into a shaker and give it a good shake. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice and top with soda. Garnish with half a passionfruit and a sprig of lime.<\/p>\n

Ingredients
\n50ml Brockmans Gin
\n25ml fresh lime juice
\n25ml passionfruit liqueur
\n8-10 mint leaves
\nSoda
\nGarnish \u2013 Half a passionfruit and a mint sprig<\/p>\n

Method<\/p>\n

Place all the ingredients (including the mint) into a shaker and give it a good shake. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice and top with soda. Garnish with half a passionfruit and a sprig of mint.<\/p>\n
