Lassies Toast Gin inspired by Robert Burns, and tea<\/h3>\n

Whether it’s an evening in with friends, New Year’s Eve, Burns’ Night, or another celebratory occasion, Lassies Toast Gin is something rather special. Dressed in luxurious red, this deliciously herbal Scottish gin features thyme, citrus, and hints of tea.<\/p>\n

It is inspired by the Moorland Tea that Robert Burns is reputed to have enjoyed and is made to a unique recipe. It was developed by Scottish distillery, Dunnet Bay Distillers, with the traditional Toast to the Lassies in mind – the traditional way to celebrate the end of the Burns Night meal.<\/p>\n

This gin contains notes of\u00a0bilberry leaves,\u00a0strawberry leaves,\u00a0heather tops,\u00a0speedwell, and\u00a0wild thyme, ingredients found in the Moorland Tea that Robert Burns apparently enjoyed.\u00a0 Serve simply, with tonic and a slice of your favourite citrus fruit to complement the citrus notes present in this spirit.<\/p>\n

This is a G and \u2018tea’ to make the evening shine poetically. We mustn’t be selfish: consider sharing just a wee drop with the men in your lives, too.<\/p>\n

And to borrow from Robert Burns’ own words, albeit about the haggis: “Auld Scotland wants nae skinking ware” (translated as “Old Scotland wants no watery stuff”) – so make sure you have a bottle of this strong (41.5%ABV) spirit ready and let the celebrations commence.<\/p>\n
