The first official bottling of anCnoc was released in 1993, and by 2013 the core range was established. anCnoc whisky takes its name from the eponymous river with its clear spring water.<\/p>\n<h4>Sweetness and mellow Christmas spice<\/h4>\n<p>The anCnoc 12 year old is a gem and will be appreciated by aficionados for its layered complexity and the delicious balance of its flavours. There is sweetness and mellow Christmas spice. This is undoubtedly a sipping whisky, and a lover of a good dram wouldn\u2019t think of storing this bottle in the same room as a cocktail mixing goblet. A simple splash of water helps release its true character.<\/p>\n<p>This would make a welcome gift for any whisky lover, but buy two bottles as one taste will convert you to anCnoc 12 Year Old. The bottle arrives looking every bit a gift-quality spirit. The white canister has a sketch of the Knockdhu Distillery in the village of Knock in Aberdeenshire. That same image is repeated on the understated yet stylish bottle label.
