Bloody Mary cocktail recipe

Bloody MaryThis is a classic Bloody Mary recipe. The quantities of spices can be changed to taste but the horseradish works very well in this cocktail which is a delight as a brunch treat at the weekend.

Ingredients

2 ounces tomato juice

2 ounces vodka

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp freshly grated horseradish

3 or 4 dashes Tabasco

ice cubes

1 tsp teaspoon lemon juice

stalk celery, tomatoes, lemon wedge, olives for garnish, optional

Method

Mix together tomato juice, vodka, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish and tabasco. Fill a Highball glass with ice, then pour the Bloody Mary mixture over the ice. Garnish with celery stalk, tomatoes and lemon wedge.
