A bread enriched with sugar, butter and muesli, ideal served warm.

Ingredients
500g Wright’s premium white bread mix
25g butter, cubed
25g caster sugar
150g luxury muesli
284ml pot buttermilk
200ml milk, warmed
Method
Place the bread mix in a bowl and rub in the butter. Stir in the caster sugar and muesli. Add the buttermilk and milk and mix for 5 minutes either by hand or in a food mixer to form a soft dough.
Place on a floured surface cover with cling film and rest for 5 minutes, work the dough for 2 minutes. Mould into a ball and rest the dough for a further 5 minutes.
Mould into a round 5cm thick. Place on a greased baking sheet, dust the surface with flour and cover with a damp tea towel. Leave to rise in a warm place for 30-40 minutes, or until the dough has doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 230°C, 450°F, gas mark 8.
Place the baking sheet on the lower oven shelf and cook for 30 minutes, or until golden brown. For the glaze: Place the sugar and water in a small saucepan and heat until dissolved, then liberally brush over the muesli bread.
Cool slightly then serve.
